Apr 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - The area is underlain by intensely folded gneisses lying on the margin of the Moon River synform. The rocks in the area have been mapped as weakly foliated to gneissic, pink monzonite and minor syenite.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - Uraninite occurs in small pegmatite seams constituting approximately 10% of the gneiss. Seven grab samples from a 50 m by 50 m mineralized zone returned an average grade of 0.163% U3O8.
