Mar 01, 2011 (A Wilson) - The country rock was described as hornblende gneiss and hornblende pegmatite. Modern interpretations identify the rock type as gneissic textured augen-textured leucodiorite to quartz leucodiorite. Primary igneous layering is present in places and is marked by pyroxene or its metamorphic equivalent.
