Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as consisting of more than 20 feet of diatomaceous peat.
Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - A sample of the product was analysed by T. Heys and Sons. A sample of calcined product was light-brown in colour and consisting of Pinnularia diatom fragments. The sample analysed 77.82% Si02, 12.13% Al2O3, 1.37% Fe2O3 and 2.88% CaO.
