Jan 10, 2012 (A Wilson) - The bedrock consists of a massive garnetiferous amphibolite with minor quartz and pegmatite stringers throughout. Mineralization is restricted to minor amounts of disseminated pyrite. A 5 foot wide pegmatite dike trends N20E and dips 65 W.
Jan 10, 2012 (A Wilson) - Grab samples of amphibolite collected by the OGS returned 29 ppm Cu, 4 ppm Pb, 34 ppm Zn and 0.2 ppm Ag; 24 ppm Cu, 6 ppm Pb, 27 ppm Zn. A sample of pegmatite assayed 16 ppm Cu, 7 ppm Pb, 13 ppm Zn.
