Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The deposit reportedly covers 5.5 acres and has a maximum depth of 11 feet.
Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The calcined diatomite is cream-coloured and consists mainly of broken Eunotia diatoms. The deposit reportedly averages 11.59% diatomite. An analysis of the diatomaceous peat was performed by T Heys and Sons. The analysis is 84.36% SiO2, 10.03% Al2O3, 0.45% Fe2O3, 0.82% CaO, 0.54% MgO and 1.92% alkalis.
