Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The deposit is described as a pit containing 12-15 feet of thinly varved brown clay and silt. The clay overlies silt and sand.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Illite is abundant and is the dominant clay mineral. Non-clay minerals include quartz, soda-lime feldspar, amphibole and minor amounts of dolomite and potash feldspar.
