Jan 03, 2012 (A Wilson) - Satterly described microcline crystals up to 1.5 by 2 feet. A grab sample collected from the site by J. Satterly assayed 64.72% silica, 19.3% alumina, 0.08% ferric iron, 0.33% lime, 0.18% magnesia, 13.75% potash 1.71% soda. At the waste pile, Satterly observed partly stained muscovite in sheets up to 3 inches in diameter and biotite in crushed sheets as much as 2 feet in diameter.
