Jan 03, 2012 (A Wilson) - The quarry has 1 face 24.4m long and 4.6m high. As of 1977 about 2500 tons had been removed from an abandoned meta-arkose quarry. The pink and grey banded rock has poor vertical breakage due to variable orientation of vertical fracture planes; horizontal breakage is good. The deposit lies 230 m north of Highway 60
