Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - A zone of semipelitic and pelitic gneiss, locally with traces of graphite and carrying notable amounts near its south edge occurs along the southern shores of Lake Vernon. The zone is on the overturned northeast limb of a major fold that closes to the northwest.
