Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Gneissic, pink to green metaluminous monzogranite with metamorphic fabric and laminated structure. A mixture of quartzo-feldspathic garnetiferous gneiss, hornblende gneiss and biotite gneiss are intercalated with marble throughout. The gneisses have been intruded by pegmatites.

Apr 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Low gold values were reported by the property owner in 1942. A grab sample collected by the OGS in 1981 returned 74 ppm Cu, 51 ppm Zn and 8 ppm Pb.
