Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: 0.9 km south of Bertie Lake.
1940's: Property discovered by Norm Goldie on lot 18, concession 9 and lot 17, concession 10, known as north and south occurrences, respectively. 1956: Midrim Mining Company Limited carried out ground EM, magnetometer and geochemical surveys. 1957: Mr. Ellerington carried out trenching and some diamond drilling. 1959: Slocan Van Roi Mines Limited carried out some geological mapping and drilled 11 holes for a total of 2,981 feet. 1971: Pamike Mines Limited completed an I.P. survey, some diamond drilling and geological mapping. 1987: Fred Swain staked this property. 1988: Airborne geophysical survey flown. Additional claim staking and airborne geophsics performed with geological follow-up. 1996: Orogrande Resources Inc. performed induced polarization survey, geological mapping and trenching. 1997: Diamond drilling by Orogrande Resources Inc.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - 2.47% Cu and 0.48% Ni reported in at least 2 layer in the gabbro-anorthosites. (OFR 5958, p11-7) DDH 97-12 intersected value of 875 ppb platinum at a depth of 30.5 to 33.5 feet in gabbroic norites. (OFR 5974, 1998).
