Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite is composed of feldspar, quartz, mica, tourmaline and uraninite (pitchblende). The dike is 90 feet long by 10 feet wide, and strikes N40°E.

Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - Uraninite samples assayed approximately 91.8% U308. Rare earth oxides and smoky quartz are reported from the dike. Grab samples form this site returned: 79.48% U3O8, 1.56% ThO2, 5.02% REE; 76.87% U3O8, 1.83% ThO2; 43.33% U3O8, 33.42% UO3, 1.23% ThO2; 75.74% U3O8,1.32% ThO2 and 5.58% REE. W. Elliot reportedly shipped mica from this site in 1921 and 1922. A total of 43 pounds of mica was shipped from this site in 1921
