Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - Northeasterly trending pegmatite dikes occur with regular vein-like attitude in this area. The pegmatite is reportedly 140 feet long by 40 feet in width.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - A sample from the site was analyzed in 1953. It returned: 9.75% U3O8, 0.09% TaO5 and 30.79% Cb2O5. The dike consists of white feldspar, red feldspar, white quartz, smoky quartz, white mica, black mica, tourmaline and ptichblende. Approximately 1 ton of mica was mined and shipped from the site between 1915 and 1918.
