Access Description: From highway 520 and Yonge Street, proceed east for 4.8km then turning south along the township road for 200m. Follow the bush road southwest for 60m then due south for 100m.

Lithology Comments

Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The mineralization was reportedly found at the contact between the host gneiss and what is described as a “trap”. Satterly noted the presence of amphibolite containing sugary quartz and garnet on the waste pile.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected from the site by. J. Satterly assayed 1.37% Cu, 1.40% Ni and 0.01 oz/t Au. A grab sample collected from the site circa 1900 assayed 1.79% Ni with fair percentages of copper. In 1900, it was estimated that there was a 10 ton stockpile of ore (estimated) near the shaft. The workings consist of a 5 metre shaft with 7 metres of drifting. Grab sample 82-AH-3, collected from the dump site by the OGS in 1982 assayed: 1425 ppm Cu, 0.3 ppm Ag, 15 ppb Au, <2 ppm As and <1 ppm Sb.
