Access Description: From a cottage at the end of the North Sand Lake Road, walk approximately 2 kilometres at a bearing of 265 degrees to the only sizeable outcrop on the east shore of Tank Lake.

Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Satterly described the outcrop as a biotite granite gneiss with inclusions of hornblende gneiss, in part garnetiferous. The outcrop is cut by several glassy white to grey quartz stringers with a maximum width of 8 inches.
Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by A. Hogg in 1982 assayed 7 ppm Cu, <2 ppb Au, <0.1 ppm Ag, 1 ppm As and <5 ppm Sb. The sample was collected from the vein. Assays of the host gneiss returned similar values
