Jan 04, 2012 (A Wilson) - The marble contains a few altered hornblende schist inclusions which, in turn, contain coarse graphite flakes as much as 1 inch in diameter.

Jan 04, 2012 (A Wilson) - The graphite occurs as coarse flakes, ranging from ¼ to 1 inch in diameter within hornblende schist fragments. The limestone contains little graphite. Satterly also noted the presence of graphite in hornblende schist inclusions on the shore of Bilsland Lake. Under the water of Bilsland Lake, disseminated graphite occurs within the limestone.
