Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - A 5 foot deep pit is located at the contact between limestone and crystalline limestone. The contact dips 55-70°W. A 12-18 inch wide skarn band is present at the contact and can be followed north from the pit for 10 feet.

Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - A small (1 ft) patch in the skarn contains coarse pyrrhotite and some chalcopyrite. In the rest of the skarn the sulphide content is low and estimated as <1% sulphides. A grab sample of the skarn collected by J. Satterly returned 0.05% Cu and trace Ni. A grab sample of the garnet rock returned 0.08% Cu and trace Ni.
