Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The country rock is a fine-grained amphibolite. Coarse amphibolite was observed in ore dumps on the property. Magnetite was observed as being interstitial to the amphibole crystals.

Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The ore body was described as a north-south lens, about 10 ft wide, consisting of clean magnetite or mixed magnetite and hornblende. A grab sample collected from the property by Satterly, assayed 59.55% Fe, 4.49% SiO2 and 1.2% TiO2. Traces of V, Ni and Cr were found in the magnetite by spectrographic analysis.
