Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite occurs in a narrow band of paragneiss bounded by migmatite. The country rock is a biotite paragniess striking N30°E and dipping 50°NW. The granite pegmatite is a sill about 5 feet wide.

Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite dike shows zoning with muscovite and sodic feldspar on the walls and potassic feldspar in the middle. The muscovite books range from <1 inch to 3 Inches across. A few books with diameters up to 6 inches were found. Approximately 25 pounds of mica were shipped from the site in 1918.
