Lithology Comments

Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The workings consist of a 20 foot wide pegmatite dike that strikes N70°E and dips 60°S. At the east end of the stripped area there is an open cut. The country rock is a biotite paragneiss. Several narrow (5-15 feet) pegmatite dikes were observed about 60 feet west of the main showing.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite is composed of muscovite books, glassy-grey quartz and potash feldspar in masses up to 3 feet across. The feldspar is cross cut by quartz veins, and the feldspar is unlikely to grade higher than No. 2. The muscovite books are usually <2-3 inches in diameter. Sodic feldspar in secondary dikes forms masses about 1 foot in diameter. Allanite, found in crystals up to 3 inches in length, was noted in a pegmatite at the northeast end of the property.
