Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The marble contains lithic inclusions of diopside-bearing granodiorite, scapolite-diopside metagabbro and diorite.
Oct 30, 2009 (A Wilson) - The CaO content of the marble ranges from 41.72 - 47-74% and the limestone has a neutralizing value ranging from 75-85%. Metallurgical work completed by Pominex in 1980 indicates that the average grade is about 76% CaCO3.
