Exploration History

1858: 26 tons of ore were produced from a shaft 11 metres deep, and 10 tons of ore were subsequently produced from another shaft 6 metres deep. 1925: a series of pits excavated by the Ottawa Valley Syndicate along a length of 700 metres following the vein.
