Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Mineralization which consists of sparsely-disseminated sulphides, is hosted in dolomite marble within mafic mylonites of the RLMZ. The marble contains numerous small layers, pods and lenses of white dolomite cut by narrow veins of quartz mineralized with tetrahedrite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. Exposure of the mineralization is limited to the workings. Assays (1980): Cu 30 to 11,100 ppm, Au 25 to 2,400 ppb, Sb 105 to 5,800 ppm, Zn 44 to 610 ppm, Ag up to 11 ppm. This is one of 9 similar deposits that extend for 19 km along strike (1980) and is probably syngenetic with the marble.
