Mineralization Comments

May 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - Graphite is associated with a high sulphide content, most noticeably pyrrhotite. Graphite occurs as very find powdery flakes and as 1 or 2 mm flakes. Diamond drilling by R. Campbell indicates that the graphitic unit has a thickness of approximately 106 m in the vicinity of Carter Lake. Carter et al of the OGS reported 1% Cu from a fresh sample of sulphides from below the weathered portion.
