Point Location Description: Precise, map symbol Mus 2.2 km NE of Lavant Station.

Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: Travel north from city of Perth on Hwy 511, continue 4 km past village of Hopetown and turn left at sign to Poland (County Road 16). Drive through hamlet of Poland and past Robertson Lake. Turn-off to a trail that passes through the property is at UTM point 367515m E, 4989499m N, between Robertson Lake and the village of Lavant Station. The trail crosses a hydro power-line, and continues another 3 km to northwestern part of the claim group (from Report on a Diamond Drilling Program by John H. Adams, October 31, 2003).



Exploration History

1991: V.N. Rampton and C.F. Gleeson prospected the area and staked 15 claims. A grid was established and geological mapping was completed. Petrographic studies and beneficiation tests were conducted. In 2000 Watts Griffis and McOuat petrographically examined two samples. In 2002 and 2003 present claims were staked. In 2003, 3 diamond drill holes were completed for a total of 158 feet. 2004: 25kg of drill core from previous year's work was submitted for a beneficiation study at SGS Lakefield Research Limited.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 16, 2007 (D Laidlaw) - Muscovite bearing schist ranges in thickness from 2 to 10m over a continuous strike length of 1200m. Total strike length of the zone is over 4000m. Field and petrographic estimates of high-grade material range from 30 to 50%.
