Point Location Description: Precise, square symbol Cu 15, just W of Lavant Creek, lot 17, conc 5.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: The occurrence is accessible only by foot from a point about 90 m south of the Lavant Township firehall, 1.1 km south of the bridge over the Clyde River at Joes Lake along a gravel road. It is located on the side of a steep ridge 1600 m at a bearing of 217 deg from this point.
1957: A.F. Taylor completed 9 diamond drill holes totalling 1500 feet, minor mineralization was observed in the drill core. 1975: Lynx-Canada Explorations Ltd. completed a soil geochemistry survey for Cu, Zn, Ag, Bi, As and geological mapping. 1978: Selco Mining Corporation Ltd. completed one diamond drill hole totalling 177 feet in length. No mineralization was encountered.
