Location Method: Field Visit with GPS

Access Description: The deposit is located about 8 km N of Denbigh, 3.2 km NW of Slate Falls, on the E slope of a large hill. Access is via a dirt road which passes within 900 m of the deposit. Drive NW along the Slate Falls Road from Hwy 41 until it ends, a distance of 5.2 km. From this point take a dirt lumber road (on the right) N for about 2 km to the opposite side of the sandy hill. From this point the deposit is reached on foot, 920 m at 250 degrees. The S showing lies near the S boundary of the E half of lot 1, Range B, Lyndoch. The 2 groups of workings are 300 m apart in a N-S direction, connected by an overgrown dirt road. Both main showings are in Lyndoch township but some work was carried out in Denbigh.

Exploration History

1961 : Noranda Explorations Ltd optioned the Harvey Simon property (South showing), carried out geophysics and mapping and drilled 13 holes (2,502 ft) in total on claims in lot 1, Range B, Lyndoch and lot 40, East Range, Denbigh 1965 : Young-Davidson Mines Ltd carried out geophysics and drilled 7 holes ( 3,807 ft). 1992: Noranda Explorations Ltd also carried out exploration on adjoining lots 16-20 in con 1 and 2, Lyndoch, and lots 16-20 in con 15 and 16, Denbigh, where they drilled 2 holes (406 m), geochemistry. 2000: Pelangio Mines Ltd. diamond drilled 3 holes for a total of 486 m to test the down plunge extension of the South Zone Deposit and evaluate copper and zinc mineralization at depth. 2003: Pelangio Mines Inc. had airborne EM and Mag surveys completed over the property. 2004: They continued with a ground EM survey on a cut grid. Diamond drilling was performed on concession I, lots 17-21. Five holes totalling 1008m was completed. Two holes were targeted to evaluate new anomalies and 3 holes were located in the main zone (press release Pelangio Mines Inc., January 17, 2005). 2006, 2007: Adroit Resources Inc. acquired the property in 2006 and performed linecutting, ground EM and Mag then at the start of 2007 completed 20 diamond drill holes for a total of 3,029m.

Lithology Comments

Apr 29, 2019 (C Papertzian) - The main deposit (S showing - near the S boundary of the E half of lot 1, Range B) consists of disseminated cp, po and minor py and sp in a conformable lens 3 m thick, 180 m long and continuous to a depth of at least 107 m as proven by drilling. It is hosted by amphibolite paragneiss. The lens is reported to contain a total of 253,000 tons of 1.09 % Cu. The N showing (about 300 m N of the S showing) consists of minor cp disseminated within a small lens of massive magnetite. It is hosted in metagabbro, about 2 ft thick and pinches out within 15 ft along strike. There is a small showing of massive py and cp in a zone about 1 ft wide, at a point 500 ft E of the N showing. Another small showing, of coarse, disseminated py and cp in amphibolite, is located on the road between the 2 main showings. The S deposit is considered to be very similar to the New Calumet Zn-Pb-Ag mine on Calumet Island in the Ottawa River. See MDC 20 (1980) for a good description and map.

Jul 15, 2011 (A Wilson) - The main rock type is a fine- to medium-grained amphibolite gneiss composed of hornblende and plagioclase with minor biotite and quartz. In places accessory garnet is abundant. The foliation strikes N to N15°E and dips 30-50° E with local dips of 65-75° E. Coarse-grained leucogranite in various amounts as injections and dikes.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 15, 2011 (A Wilson) - Assays from the 1961 diamond drilling program completed by Noranda returned assays ranging from 0.21% Cu over 23.2 feet in DDH 1 to 2.48% Cu over 9.54 ft in DDH 11. The main (south) property consists of disseminated chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and minor pyrite and sphalerite in a conformable lens 3 m thick, 180 m long and continuous to a depth of at least 107 m. The northern showing consists of minor chalcopyrite disseminated within a small lens of massive magnetite. Grab samples collected from the northern trenches returned Cu values between 0.16 and 0.35% Cu and 0.04 to 3.4% Zn
