Jul 05, 2011 (A Wilson) - The main pit exposes a sheet of pink hornblende and pyroxene syenite pegmatite. It contains accessory tourmaline and quartz as intergrowths. The pegmatite was reportedly 35 feet thick and underlain by crystalline limestone.

Aug 02, 2011 (A Wilson) - Flake molybdenite formed up to 1% in the pegmatite. The flakes ranngd from ½ to 1.5 inches across. Assays from Lalonde DDH FNB24 returned 0.08% Cu over1.4 m and DDHFNB25 returned 0.05% Cu over 2.7 m.
