Mineralization Comments

Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The sillimanite occurs as fine-grained fibrous radiating aggregates with garnet. Garnet and sillimanite occur sporadically over a width of ¼ mile in the unit. Some sillimanite rich zones up to 10 feet wide carry 15% sillimanite as fine needle-like aggregates. The sillimanite content varies greatly from unit to unit along strike.
