Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - 1986 : described by the OGS - pink-green, banded-white coarse-grained marble; diopside has been replaced by carbonate and serpentine. Trace py and some siliceous bands. Closely-spaced and irregular jointing. The stone is friable and probably best suited to ashlar type of applications.
