Access Description: Located on top of a hill 300 m N of Hwy 500. A road turning into the gravel pit 700 m W of the York River bridge provides access.
1968-9 : Trenching, radiometric and magnetic surveys, bulk sampling and drilling by Urban Quebec Mines Ltd. Several pits and trenches were put down on granitic and pegmatitic dykes and sills in gneissic metasediments. The largest trench is 26 m long x 2-4 m wide. Bulk samples assayed 0.037-0.20 % U3O8.
