Point Location Description: Dot symbol directly E of square A29 and just SE of Farm Chute.

Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: Bush roads leading N from Hwy 500, just W of the York River, provide access to the property. The Egan Chute road (N from Hwy 500 / 28) gives access just W of the York River bridge and follows the N shore of the river.



Exploration History

1957 : 7 trenches by P.J. McLean. 1968 : Cam Mines Ltd carried out a scint survey, stripping, trenching and drilling (3 DDH for 592 ft). U3O8 average 0.011 % in DDH, average 0.087 % in trenches. There are several showings.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Mineralized pink pegmatites intrude calc-silicate gneiss, rusty hornblende gneiss and syenitic gneisses. 7 main showings were delineated. Allanite, uranophane, uranothorite and uraninite are often associated with hematization, fracturing, smokey quartz, peristerite and sulphide-bearing country rock.
