Point Location Description: Square symbol ' AU, AG, AS 5 ' just S of Hwy 500 near E township boundary.

Access Description: The pit is located 180 m S of Hwy 500, 1.6 km E of Detlor.
A pit, 2 x 3 m and 2 m deep, on a zone about 1.0-1.3 m wide and 30 m long.
Province: Grenville
Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Mineralization is associated with disseminated arsenopyrite (up to 10 %) in a rusty volcanic tuff which is conformable with a well-layered sequence of dolomitic marble. A grab sample (1943) gave 0.02 oz/t Au but no Ag or Pb. Only trace Ag and Au in 1980. See MDC 20 (1980) for map and description.
