Oct 18, 2011 (A Wilson) - The rock that contributes most to the anomaly is a magnetite-bearing syenite gneiss striking E.N.E., and lying north of both the crest of the anomaly and the road.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 18, 2011 (A Wilson) - A sample of gneiss collected by E.M. Abraham from the area of Bulpit Lake assayed: 25.30% Fe, 0.64% S, 0.98% TiO2, 0.62% P2O5, and 20.55% SiO2. The magnetite occurs as disseminations and streaks in a zone 3O feet wide. The surface of the magnetite rich zone has weathered to yield a black capping.
