Access Description: This is a series of road-cuts to be seen on Hwy 28 starting just E of the York River bridge, 11.1 km E of the junction of Hwy 28 (500) and Hwy 62. The second road-cut, at 11.9 km, is the location point.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Road-cuts show : at 11.1 km - rare brugnatellite nodules in marble, associated with brucite, clinohumite, spinel, serpentine, olivine, mica, pyrrhotite and graphite; at 11.9 km - tourmaline in pegmatite in amphibolite; at 12.2-12.4 km - aggregates of epidote in amphibolite with actinolite, pyroxene and hornblende; at 13.2 km - gypsum forms an encrustation on amphibolite; at 13.8 km - tremolite-actinolite crystals are abundant in calcite with some hematite. The Detlor Road junction is at 14.0 km. At 14.5-14.8 km - tremolite-actinolite occurs in marble; at 15.7-17.0 km - bladed aggregates of tremolite-actinolite are associated with smoky quartz, diopside and mica.
