Point Location Description: Dot symbol Ne ', 0.8 km S of Hwy 500 and SE of Coltson Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: The quarry is 0.8 km S of Hwy 500 and is reached by the overgrown S extension of the private road that serves 2 houses on the W side of Coltson Lake.
Mineral location - various. pre-1942 : W. Robbins opened a small quarry on a nepheline pegmatite. The quarry is on the side of a hill and the cut is 35 ft wide and 30 ft high, ascending the hill in 6-8 ft benches.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - An irregularly-shaped, possibly extensive, biotite-nepheline-albite pegmatite is hosted in nepheline plagioclase gneiss. Nepheline and albite up to 3 ft in size have been described, and magnetite crystals up to 4 inches. Sodalite, hydronephelite, cancrinite and gieseckite in joints and fractures.
