Point Location Description: Dot symbol ' Fel ' just N of Bronson Lake and CNR.

Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: The deposit is 45 m N of the Bronson-Detlor Road, 2.4 km E of Bronson Station. The pegmatite is exposed in a large outcrop on the S-facing brow of a hill.



Exploration History

Unknown history : 3 cuts - 3.6 x 4.5 x 2.0 m deep, 6 x 4.5 x up to 1.0 m deep, a slash 6 m long along strike.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A pink, largely homogeneous pegmatite made up of quartz (10-15 %) and microcline, hosted by garnet paragneiss. The exposed length is about 40 m. The microcline averages 10-15 cm in diameter (up to 45 cm). See MDC 22 for good description.
