The location of this quarry is uncertain, as is its date of operation. A Thomas Morrison was a superintendent and manager for many years with the Ontario Marble Quarries. Whether or not this is the same man who opened the quarry referred to in 1938 is in doubt, especially as the latter is said to have opened it ' recently ' and had a Toronto address. So this is probably not an Ontario Marble Quarries quarry. SMDR # 001261 gives the location as lot 30, con 11, but the stratigraphy is wrong - perhaps the outcrop in lot 27, con 10 is more likely or lot 28, con 10 where ' stone ' is marked on map 1955-8 beside a road but S of the CNR. Presumably, the quarry was short-lived. Sample # 68 was taken from this quarry (1938).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A quarry opened in a band of coarse-grained, pink and grey marble. Calcitic but siliceous, dipping vertically. Purer marble is exposed on the hill above the quarry. Sample # 68 (1938).
