Circa 1912 : marble properties held by the Canadian Marble Company. Winfield Farm - no work recorded, though the company intended to ' actively exploit ' it (1912). Only a few test pits were sunk on some properties.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Apparently there is a ' brown clouded ' type of marble on the Winfield Farm property.
