Access Description: From the Bancroft post office drive S on Hwy 28 for 3.8 ml. Roadcut is 0.7 ml NE of entrance to the Faraday (Madawaska) Mine.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The mylonite zone of the W end of the McArthurs Mills fault - in amphibolite and granite. The brown mylonite in the cut is soft but suitable for cabbing and carving.
