Point Location Description: Point 0.5 km S of Bancroft.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: On the side of a hill, N of the Ritchie property, 200 ft from the valley and 150 ft from the top of the hill (1943).
Circa 1912 : property held by the Canadian Marble Co Ltd. No work on the property recorded. According to D.F. Hewitt (ARV66-03, p. 42) the property was worked by The Crystalline Stone Products Limited of Hamilton, who shipped only the paper white dolomite for use as a stucco. H. Grant Harper, who examined the property in 1963 (File 31F04SW9522), estimated that some 15,000 to 20,000 tons of material was quarried and shipped from the property during its operation. The quarry used to be about 300 ft. long and varies between 15 and 25 ft. in width.

Intermixed with other units, variable in colour and texture and with less pyrite than on the Ritchie property to the S.
