Point Location Description: Dot symbol ' A 30 ' between Hwy 500 and York River.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: On a ridge in a field 0.5 km E of the Card farmhouse. A farm road turning S from Hwy 500, 2.1 km W of the York River bridge, leads to the occurrence.
1957 : stripping and pits by Charles Rockwell (on the Card farm). The area was ' moderately-well bulldozed ' over 100 x 200 m.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Spotty radioactivity over an area up to 290 m x 90 m, in a yellowish-pink granite pegmatite intruding biotite syenite gneiss, marble and rusty pyritic calc-silicate gneiss. U3O8 - 0.03 % in the pegmatite. 3 areas of high radioactivity. The rusty pyritic gneisses may represent a uraniferous horizon, as seen in similar showings along strike. See MDC 23, 1981.
