Access Description: All zones are accessible by short walks (< 0.5 km) from local roads.
1957 : York River Uranium Mines - stripping and trenching, mainly on D, B and G Zones, and drilling on the D Zone. 1977 : Inco Metals Ltd (Canadian Nickel Mines Ltd) carried out geological and geophysical surveys and minor drilling on the D, E and G Zones.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Widespread but erratic mineralization in pegmatites up to 2 m wide but generally < 0.5 m wide. Showings S of the Faraday Granite are spatially associated with 2 stratagraphic, and possibly structural, horizons. These are typefied by the B and G Zones. See OGS, 1981 for a detailed description.
