1954 : Bonville Gold Mines (later Hydra Explorations Ltd) trenched and drilled 25 holes (9,642 ft).

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Granite pegmatite, with scattered pods of pink calcite and hornblende, contain radoactive minerals. Uranothorite, betauranophane and pyrochlore identified. Geiger readings 5-10 x background, highs up to 40 x. Exposure is poor and mineralization is scattered over a large area.
