Location Method: AMIS Site Visit

Access Description: Proceed east from Maynooth to New Carlow, then at New Carlow turn left onto Boulter Road for 3.9km, then left onto gravel road for 1.1km to a hunt camp (rr#242). Trail to site is 100m north of hunt camp and parking is on left 200m n of the camp.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The workings consist of 3 shallow cuts. The northwestern cut has a length of 60 feet and a width of 20 feet and a northeast face of 5-10 feet. The southern cut is 20 by 25 feet by 18 feet deep. The northeastern cut is 20 feet long with a 3 to 5 foot face. Corundum is distributed throughout the workings in a spotty and irregular way. There appears to be no persistent zones of ore grade or size.
