Mineralization Comments

Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The corundum is irregularly distributed throughout the area. The crystals vary in diameter from ¼ to 4 inches and there are numerous irregular patches of green and brown corundum pegmatite running 30-40% in grade. The corundum occurs as a tin veneer on the dip slope of the stripping and gives an erroneous impression of the richness of the material. Material from the dump contains approximately 20% corundum.
