Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The sequence consists of metasediments overlying biotite and hornblende-rich gneisses. The upper portion of the gneiss contains minor beds of calc-silicate gneiss. The sequence is overlain by calc-silicate gneisses, skarn and siliceous marble. The radioactive mineralization is associated with the very coarse-grained (pegmatitic) portions of the sequence.
