Jun 15, 2011 (A Wilson) - Five units of marble, separated by amphibolite and impure quartzite are found in the area. The units range in width from 9 to 60 m. a pink granitic pegmatite body cuts the marble near its western contact. The marbles are calcitic to dolomitic, predominantly white to light grey, medium to coarse-grained with some fine-grained units.

Jun 15, 2011 (A Wilson) - Geochemical analysis of sample PM52 returned: 1.27% SiO2, 0.1% Al2O3, 0.7% Fe2O3, 9.5% MgO and 43.0 CaO. The sample had a brightness of 93. The trace element content is low with the exception of Mn (2030 ppm).
