Jun 09, 2011 (A Wilson) - The limestone was exposed in the face of a quarry on the north side of the Opeongo Road. The limestone is grey in colour and has beds ranging from 1 to 6 inches in thickness. Shalely interbeds are found between the limestone layers. Originally identified as the Trenton limestone, this outlier has been designated as the Sherman Falls Formation
