May 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - Elevated thorium values were returned from a narrow unit of microcline-quartz-biotite-hornblende-albite gneiss and microcline-quartz-biotite-albite ± garnet ± sillimanite gneiss. The unit is completely enclosed within massive to gneissic potassic syenite.

May 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected east of highway 41 SE of Khartum returned 230 ppm U3O8, 920 ppm Th and 2.82% K2O. Sample 78-T-471 collected from the same location returned 140 ppm U3O8, 400 ppm Th and 3.97% K2O.
